Evening Song of Morgaine
The melodies, longing and with a somewhat rough voice, are carried every evening over the flat, green land.
All the way to the stony cliffs, from where one can sometimes see the island of Avalon under favorable conditions.
Vast, seemingly endless expanse, wisps of fog come and go, and the sea whispers at times, roars at others.
Sometimes one believes to hear the lament of King Arthur's dark sister Morgaine, the legend seems to come alive.
Then it is again "just" the wind that seems to sweep over wild lavender fields.
Sometimes roses seem to greet from the island of "eternal spring".
Casually, one perceives cool, rough gusts that seem to carry grassy, earthy aromas.
But when one listens and smells very closely, one perceives the "breath of the gods".
"Donar" and "Odin".... but also, very softly... and in the distance... King Arthur and his bride Gwineth ride by, followed by Morgaine's eternal song.....

I love the Arthurian legend, and Morgaine was already my hero when I was a child. Ah yes.... :)
