Bogner "Spring"!

~ Inspiration ~
I just found this sample while decluttering and wanted to share a quick note about it.

~ Bottle ~
It looks like a nail oil bottle (similar to Bogner No 1, but here it’s upside down). The liquid is a delicate lilac. I don’t understand why the perfume is called Bogner Snow, as it is an absolute spring scent and has nothing to do with snow or the cold season.

~ Fragrance ~
The slightly sour top note, dominated by (green) apples, is balanced by a softly floral heart note. Lily of the valley stays in the background, allowing the water lily to take the lead. A spicy base note from pepper and ginger adds warmth, but it never feels intrusive; instead, it harmoniously fades away with the woody base.

~ Longevity ~
The perfume is very light, and accordingly, it doesn’t last long on the skin (it lingers a bit longer on clothing and hair). You can confidently spritz it on without it being overwhelming.

I must mention that I’ve had this sample for several years, and it’s only filled to the bottom - BUT: It smells just like the first day and hasn’t gone off at all!

~ Occasion ~
It fits well for daytime in spring and summer, also for the office or sports. It smells very subtle and like freshly showered.

~ Conclusion ~
Lovely-aquatic and understated.
It’s a bit too apple-like for me. For fans of DKNY "Be Delicious (Eau de Parfum)."
