Toilet air freshner, then creamy and woody sandalwood topped by fresh neroli
The start was very spicy sandalwood, but I don't know if the bergamot started acting up when interacting with the neroli, but it smelled very toilet air freshner adjacent: fresh, citrusy with hints of florals and woodiness.
After it starts settling down, it's exactly as it says on the tin: fresh, floral neroli and creamy, and woody sandalwood. The drydown becomes exclusively sandalwood (creamy and woody) with a hint of freshness. Starts smelling a bit like pencil shavings. Overall, it's fine, but nothing new or exciting. Doesn't warrant the rating it currently has (6.6/10 at the time of this review), but I get why people prefer other sandalwood scents. As for me, I'm not a woody fragrance girl so this is a pass for a full bottle. Still one of the more palatable one I got to try from the ScentXplore box!
