Borsalino pour Elle Borsalino 2008 Eau de Parfum

that this fragrance is not well-received here. I must defend it a bit :-).

To my nose, it is not appealing at all. It is soft, powdery-floral, yes... but it also has bitter notes, which I used to attribute to carrot seeds, but maybe it’s the iris. Or perhaps ambrette seeds? I have no idea how they smell.
This bitter note creates the rrrr-effect for me with this fragrance. Amber and musk capture the bitterness well, so that everything together becomes really pleasant, almost delicious. A little corner, then, but with a cuddly factor. What can be said against that? For my part, I love to cuddle... even with Borsalino ;-).

The longevity is excellent, especially in clothing, where you can perceive it for a long time. Sillage is just right for me - not too much, but also not too little. A delicately scented aura indeed. A nice office fragrance that some colleagues have already commented on positively.

Is there really no vanilla in it??
