The scent of Bottega Veneta "Illusione" was a blind buy for me some time ago. I liked the fragrance notes and the price was fair. Now I have been able to test the scent for a while and here I summarize what I think of it.
The fragrance creation of Bottega Veneta "Illusione" is generally characterized by a very strong sweetness, where I miss a bit of freshness as a balance. With lemon, bergamot, and bitter orange, one would think that the scent has a refreshing opening, but unfortunately, this is not the case, as the vanilla paired with tonka bean in the base note quickly comes to the forefront, resulting in the extreme sweetness.
