The Cuddle Shell Scent
Boucheron is a scent to fall in love with! And if a woman doesn’t have a suitable partner, then she simply loves herself and throws on her self-knitted alpaca wool sweater, because Boucheron is just as soft and warming.
I’ll rhyme a bit now: I’m disarmed (meaning divorced), so I don’t have a partner. Hum..... I don’t need one either; I enjoy Boucheron all by myself by candlelight and good wine, hum
Not that you think I’ve swallowed some colorful pills.
Yes, the Medusa has acquired a cuddle scent and has strayed from her rough Chypres.
I have a kind of primal trust in the house of Boucheron. Woe to you if you disappoint me, then there will be trouble! Or I’ll give you a sharp look, and what happens then is very unhealthy and worse than Corona!
Boucheron starts with a creamy mandarin soufflé, carried by dreamy orange blossoms. I once had little orange trees as potted plants, so I know how they smell. Ylang-Ylang provides me with a tropical, sweet scent. Everyone has probably smelled a jasmine bush at some point, unless they live in a big city and are half-dead from smog. The tuberose is finely woven, and I’m learning to love it more and more (not just in Boucheron).
A nice whale has also contributed a bit of amber, which makes the drydown even creamier. Do you actually know what’s in whale vomit? It’s not really tasty. Today, amber is synthetically produced or (in rare cases) collected when it’s washed up on a beach somewhere. Well, luckily no one can keep a sperm whale.
But back to the scent. I’m not a marine biologist.
The “old” perfumers and -muses will now fall from grace. The Chypre crowd, which always crows when it discovers a Chypre, buys a lovely cuddle scent?
I tolerate no dissent; otherwise, I’ll give you a sharp look! You know what happens then.....
P.S. There’s no photo of the scent here, but the bottle looks like that of the EdT on the Boucheron website.

I'm thinking about getting the EDT; it's more floral and radiant than the EDP (floral/creamy/vanilla)...
Great description, it really makes you want to try the scent!
So why not try something with dreamy orange blossoms? *g*
I really liked the EdT too. And you should definitely treat yourself more often.
