Island Fantasy Britney Spears 2013 Eau de Toilette

Anyone who knows Spears's creations knows what to expect:

A thick, heavy, foggy cloud of sugar, with sugar, garnished with sugar, a little fruity notes AND OF COURSE SUGAR that can take your breath away in overdose or send you into a diabetic shock. :)

I don't want to speak negatively about her creations, I like them... on others and in small doses, on myself they lead to a certain degree of nausea sooner or later, as they also cling to you forever and annoyingly... ;)

Now back to the little island. :) I must say the bottle intrigued me from the start, it looks summery and fresh. I like! :)

Then came the surprising effect when sniffing... Citrus!! A whole lot of it! So much that one might think the fragrance alchemist thought... Ah screw sugar, I'll just throw in citrus instead of sugar and see what happens... *kaboom* and the new scent is ready! :)

Nevertheless, this very citrusy and thus lighter little fragrance is much better in my nose than the *SugarInYourFace* variant! ;D The sweetness of the scent is slightly perceptible in the background after the first citrus overload and gives the whole thing a slightly creamy touch. This gives the scent a somewhat autumnal feel for me - because of the mandarins and the creaminess reminds me of pastries - and I like that! :) Also, the flowers come through after a while and round everything off.

The scent lasts long and there is no nausea. :D Conclusion: it can also be done with a ton less sugar, even better for the slim figure! ;) :P So far the best scent from Britney for me :D
