Lovely cheap fougère
I was given this as a gift and it's become a fast favourite and gateway into the fragrance world. it comes in a huge 250ml glass bottle, the size and shape of which is quite elegant if not akin to a mouthwash. The liquid itself is a nice shade of light green.
Despite the price, it doesn't smell particularly cheap or artificial to me. it's quite medicinal and sharp at first, but dries into a nice green patchouli sweetened by lavender. It's potent with decent sillage.
I've seen some reviews call it old-fashioned or gentlemanly - admittedly I do not know what that means for a fragrance. I could see it working for pretty much anyone!
