Your own fault
During my obligatory DM shopping trip, I dared to try my first BB test of my life today. And of course, I was punished!!!
Pure Woman comes across as fresh and fruity and develops quite nicely in the heart note. Vanilla comes through a bit with the fruits, and the scent is now sweet. Not bad at all, I thought to myself. Unfortunately, this niceness lasts barely an hour before making way for the typically scratchy, unpleasant synthetic base that all the more affordable fragrances seem to have. Yuck! Very penetrating and a headache inducer per se.
I almost expected that, I just wanted to play around. After several washes and scrubbing with a Love Shack-soaked cotton ball, this penetrating stench was finally masked enough for me to tolerate it.
Maybe the stuff gets better if you keep spraying it on. However, I won't take that risk.
