Body Tender Burberry 2013

Life is a quiz - and we are just the contestants… guessing, guessing, guessing. And among other things, we guess whether this blind purchase will meet our expectations and hopes this time? In this case, the blind purchase was indeed bold, because first of all, no Burberry scent has captivated me so far, secondly, certainly not Body (on me it’s sharp, prickly, rose-like) and thirdly, I have had little luck with blind purchases so far and have largely weaned myself off them. Exceptions confirm the rule, of course... With Body Tender, I simply relied on the comments. I bought it back in late summer, but now it really deserves a comment, as it is currently in use.

What else can one do in a spring-like winter like this with 14 degrees Celsius, where the beloved winter scents just don’t bring any joy? Something heavy is too much, something summery is too fresh. So, a woman needs something soft, unobtrusive, nose-pleasing, and still warm. And that’s where Body Tender comes in just right. Nothing stings or pricks here, everything fits. The scent is soft and rounded, floral and warm, creamy and not sweet. The sillage is strong at first but soon weakens a bit. On me, Body Tender lasts quite a long time.

With this lovely comforter and all-rounder, I feel just like that: comfortable and well-groomed, always and everywhere. When I really don’t know what to wear, I often reach for this one. Because with it, I can never go wrong. Body Tender envelops the wearer all day long with a pleasant, warm feminine aura. Exactly the right thing for this winter, which is a spring…
