My Burberry Blush Burberry 2017

During my last city stroll, I sprayed My Burberry Blush and the scent somehow captivated me and hasn't let go since. I absolutely wanted to have it.

Now I have it, and I still like it, but... somehow it's different from the other fragrances I know from Burberry. It's so pleasing and almost cries out: "please, please love me." I don't find that bad, as everyone wants to feel liked and loved. Still, I suddenly feel like something is missing. My Burberry Blush has no edges or corners. It starts with cheerful/friendly lemon and apple. Pretty quickly, rose and jasmine join in, and that's it. I can't really imagine a scent note under wisteria, and I don't perceive any other component. Nothing jabs or pricks, and that's probably exactly what "bothers" me. For me, it's just too perfect. I wanted exactly such a "good mood fragrance." Now I'm not satisfied with that either. My Burberry Blush is like Rosamunde Pilcher in a bottle. Cute cottages in Cornwall, pastel-colored roses, and apple trees with plump, juicy apples in the garden.

We women are strange creatures. First, we wish for something, and when we get exactly that, we start searching for the fly in the ointment. Yet the scent is made for spring and summer. Maybe the weather is to blame. That must be it, for sure. My Burberry Blush probably just needs spring-like or even summery temperatures to truly unfold. It will definitely get at least one more chance (probably more like two or three), because it is really beautiful.

I find the bottle really well done, which I can't say about the packaging of its checkered brothers and sisters. The 30 ml version lacks the pink ribbon, but I can overlook that.

My Burberry Blush is clearly a women's fragrance, as I can't imagine a guy I would want to smell it on, and I also doubt that men want to smell like this. The sillage is rather weak or at least weaker than I'm used to from the other fragrances of the British traditional house. The longevity is also less than with the others. For me, it lasts about 4, at most 5 or 6 hours.

Update 19.05.18 My Burberry Blush and I do not match, although I still find the scent very successful, but just not for me, and therefore I gifted it to my youngest daughter today. She was absolutely thrilled with the first spray, and it definitely suits her better.
