So this is how Bordeaux smells?

My first review and then also blind. This can only turn out well?
The first impression I get from the perfume is an immediate burst of a barbershop scent. For me, a barbershop scent is very fresh, citrusy, and always has something of aftershave or something "clean." I sense lemon and a bit of bergamot in there. If I had to express the perfume as an image, it would be something between a good visit to the barber and freshly washed clothes.
After about an hour, the strong citrus freshness fades and transforms into a somewhat floral, softened version of itself. The scent is no longer as "overpowering" as it was initially, but rather more pleasant. However, it doesn't smell as strongly of freshly washed laundry anymore, but more floral. I usually struggle with that. I don't detect the typical lavender note of a fougère, which is why I leave the barbershop expression standing alone. In the drydown, the scent doesn't smell particularly different; it just becomes weaker. After half a day, I have to make an effort to still perceive the scent on the strip. I didn't expect high longevity given the freshness.
Overall, the scent is a well-rounded thing. That's also what I would criticize. The perfume lacks a bit of complexity for me. It doesn't smell bad at all, but it's just not particularly special.
