So this is how fresh Bordeaux smells ?

My first assessment and then still blind. That can only be what ?
The first impression I get from the perfume is immediately a concentrated charge of a barbershop fragrance. For me, a barbershop scent is very fresh, citrusy and always has something of an aftershave or something "clean". I'm guessing lemon and some bergamot from what I'm detecting. If I had to express the perfume as an image, it would be something between a good hairdresser visit and freshly washed clothes.
After just under an hour, the strong citrusy freshness fades and turns into a somewhat floral toned down form of itself. The scent is no longer as "penetrating" as initially, but a little more pleasant. However, it also no longer smells as strongly of freshly washed laundry, but more floral. I usually have a hard time there. The typical lavender note of a fougeres I smell at least not, which is why I leave the barbershop expression alone. In drydown the scent doesn't smell particularly different it just gets weaker. After half a day I have to make an effort to still be able to perceive the scent on the strip. A high durability I have but also not expected with the freshness.
Overall, the fragrance is a round thing. That is also what I would criticize. In the perfume I lack a little complexity. He smells by no means bad but now times not particularly.
