Oud and the black tea immediately create a wave of smoky black tea, like Lapsang Souchong, for example. Then the rose oil slowly mixes in. For the brief moment when these three are roughly in balance, it is a smoky tea-rose scent. The black tea then retreats first, leaving behind an oud-rose fragrance, slightly smoky and woody. From here on, the scent quickly pulls back to the skin. It oscillates between oud and rose. Interestingly, it fades out softly smoky and creamy. However, I can't explain the cream.
I see the longevity in the medium range at about six hours. The sillage, aside from the first moments, is rather weak.
This Bulgari doesn't excite me, but I think it's an oud-rose fragrance that can be worn without being overwhelming.
If I remember correctly, Lapsang Souchong isn't really your thing anyway.
There are scents that are just "nice"; I like them on some days.
Let's see how I feel about this one - it should be here.
I find the sillage of this one not as airy as the others, mainly the blue and green ones. It might be due to that smoky note. But for a tea-oud-rose scent, it is still quite subtle, that's true.
I'm quite tired of rose-oud scents, but I still wanted to give this fragrance a try. So far, I only know the blue one, which I liked a lot. Thanks for the reminder :-)
But I'm not sure if I would like this tea set.
Thanks for the invitation.
