Here I am, sniffing my hand for some time now.
At first, I couldn't quite place the Thé Noir, good - not good ... it was balanced.
But now my skin has decided and is giving off a very soft yet strong
pleasant scent for me. Not a room fragrance, but I can't express it any other way. The rose is well embedded in a soft wood. I assume it's oud. I have no other experience with oud and have so far avoided all the oud fragrances.
Bergamot did not come through for me, which I think is good, as it doesn't quite fit my taste in this blend.
Patchouli integrates wonderfully.
It actually suits a winter evening, sitting snuggled up on the couch with a great book.
The sillage is quite good.
The longevity for me is about 5 - 6 hours, which I find surprising for an Eau de Cologne.
My conclusion: highly recommendable but rather for winter, and I like it a lot, even though it's currently 24 degrees warm for me.
