After a few bottlings, I was lucky enough to buy an almost full bottle here at a fair price. I have to say, I now love this fragrance! The aldehydes give it a fresh, almost spicy kick at the start. Perhaps also due to the centifolia, it has something of a detergent, which is not really my taste. With the appearance of peony and violet in the heart note, the fragrance becomes blossom-like soft and stays that way for a long time. For me, the fragrance then lives up to its name - Blanche - and ends softly in the drydown with musk and sandalwood. I have tested many of these so-called clean fragrances. None of them have come close to pleasing me as an overall composition.
