You get what it says: Magnolia and Tonka, but not intrusive or excessive, rather well-balanced: pleasant to wear.

Although Tonka is supposed to be there, I mainly smell magnolia. So it’s a subtle, creamy, and fresh floral scent. Not sweet on me.

For 2 hours, sweet, fresh, meaty, slightly powdery, and authentic magnolia; after that, it becomes lighter, slightly creamy, and clean/musky.

Derek Lam does floral-classic best. Spring-like classic magnolia, lightly sweetened with tonka, H/S are good too. Everyday/office.

Smells 50% exactly like what it should: magnolia, but no tonka
Problem: I've never noticed it on the wearer.

Magnolia becomes more noticeable over time - greener, creamier, unobtrusive, clean, elegant.
