Seerose
not successful
As "Island Rose" presents itself to me, I am unsure whether it might possibly be a failed eco-fragrance. Sure, I also smell a slight rose. But primarily, this is a white floral scent. For me, of the not-so-pleasant-smelling kind. "Island Rose" starts with a jasmine-rose scent, where jasmine (or a similar white flower, perhaps hawthorn) dominates, only to briefly make a truly foul-smelling outcry. Who knows what has been done to the "poor" flowers or who has been mistreated? Such thoughts come to me. Then, however, the unbearable scent immediately retreats, becomes tame, bearable. The rose emerges, a little. Now "Island Rose" could become nice; I smell lemon balm, a bit citrusy. It could stay like this. But no, now a dry unpleasant scent is added, like I have often perceived in fragrances labeled as "eco" and "natural." What a shame. A regrettably failed fragrance, despite some good scent components. The longevity is rather mediocre, the sillage not too strong.
