Pure seawater...
Introduction:
Imagine swimming in the open sea while a few flowers float on the water's surface. You inhale the salty scent of the water and catch a hint of the floral notes - that’s exactly how this perfume smells to me. I must say it reminds me a bit of "Megamare | Orto Parisi." This fragrance is truly special as it combines the salty freshness of seawater with floral notes. This makes it less aggressive and gives it a softer touch. I find it really well done and think it wears particularly well by the sea. However, in my opinion, it is more suited for men and leans towards a more masculine direction.
Additional:
This fragrance is truly something special, as it is - like all Acqua di Taormina scents - exclusively available in the city of Taormina in Sicily. So if you're on vacation nearby, you should definitely take the opportunity!
Longevity & Sillage:
The longevity is about seven hours on the skin, which is perfectly fine. The sillage is also good - you will be distinctly noticed for about five hours, after which the scent remains only perceptible close to the skin.
Price:
With a price of 54 euros for 50ml, the price is definitely fair. The fragrance is unique and in my eyes absolutely worth the money.
Conclusion:
A special fragrance with a strong character and a fair price-performance ratio, as one expects from Acqua di Taormina. The fresh, salty, and slightly floral sea breeze scent is definitely more mass-appealing than "Megamare | Orto Parisi." Anyone who likes salty fragrances should definitely check this one out!
