Divine, absolutely insane strong!

I bought Captain Fawcett moustache wax which had the scent Maharajah, I fell in love with the scent under my nose. It enchanted me and I had to buy this perfume. The scent is not identical with the moustache wax though (there is lacking an Indian oriental note). Old musty rose (sixtees to eightys scent of cheap pub rose scent by old ladies sitting in the corner) taken to a new level. Rose is still strong but not cheap (a little dark but modern) added by oriental scents/spicies.
I absolutely like it, but my wife didn´t like it too much. So there is a problem because the sillage and protection are ultimate strong so where can I use this incredible perfume ? A really strong rose scent but masculine. This is a spicy, oriental rose scent for this day. Maybe a little musty. I love it ! There is something mystique about it.

Fun, not too often

REALLY heavy rose note, combined with some darker notes, they are not very obvious though...

Perfume definitly has nuclear perfomance at least 24h hours of heavy smell with quite a large sillage. Definitly not for everybody, can quite obnoxious at times, especially in business environments.
BUT If you are a (cigar) smoker this makes for an amazing scent that won't be overpowered by even the fullest of cigars. Can recommend for clubbing, you'll be the only guy smelling of roses with some mysterious undertones.

Woman could potentially also get away with it I think, might be a bit too musky and not sweet enough though.

Captain Fawcett's Maharajah is an absolutely exotic dream for me. Like an Indian relative of Davidoff Zino...

A top note of citrus and pepper gives way to a rich, leathery heart note with roses and cedarwood.

The base of musk and incense provides a sensual finish that easily lasts 5 to 7 hours.

I love it for its exoticism, elegance, and depth. It stands out pleasantly for me from all the mainstream fragrances - perfect for special occasions.

I don't know how you feel, but my nose is in love!
