It doesn't happen very often anymore that a fragrance captivates me so intensely. But
Nebula has managed to do just that. The longevity on my skin is fantastic and approaches 24 hours. The sillage is also very successful, and I received endless compliments.
The top note offers a blend of a green-herbaceous freshness and a strong, sweet powderiness. I recognize myrtle, eucalyptus, rosemary, iris, and violet. The heart note has a slight coffee scent (curiously, this doesn't bother me here, as I usually find coffee in perfumes terrible), but also woody and balsamic notes of sandalwood, guaiac wood, and cedar. Then floral hints of lavender and leather emerge. In the base, I detect oriental, balsamic, and woody nuances of amber, a pleasantly agreeable, not too overpowering, and aphrodisiac oud aroma, as well as slightly sweet musk with a hint of bourbon vanilla. To be honest: The base totally reminds me of "Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff," and
Nebula increasingly resembles this classic over time. Nevertheless, I would never call it a dupe or knockoff, as the top note in both fragrances is completely different.
Since I've received so many compliments, I will probably have to look for a bottle of "Nebula | Captain Fawcett's." I thank Sam for this wonderful manufacturer sample.
