It warms the heart right up
Unfortunately, I can't say whether the perfume brand "Ars Mirabile" (from Latin for "Wonderful Art") still exists at all. Apparently, there is currently neither a website nor any references to online shops. I also haven't seen a single one of those striking red, rounded bottles in perfumeries over the past year.

It's a shame, because the scents from "Ars Mirabile" are not that bad at all, just extremely rare. Filtro d'Amore, the love potion, can indeed be described as very sweet and pleasantly warm.

Lemon and spicy cardamom only make a brief appearance in the opening phase, but they remain faithfully in the background until just before the drydown. This takes a bit of the heaviness away from the creation, as just a few blinks later it becomes more floral with a hint of geranium and, above all, much more powerful with patchouli.

From here, one could already speak of an aromatic to sweet-oriental Eau de Parfum, although thanks to labdanum and musk, the love potion does not come across as too feminine. Vanilla also has something to say towards the end, but quietly enough not to disturb the flow.

Whoever the perfumer was for "Filtro d'Amore," they played it a bit safe and aimed to please many wearers. For some, it might be too sweet and too simple, while others might be bothered by this minimal fluffiness. It’s clear that the potion is unisex, but if one had to choose a side, the tendency leans more towards a women's fragrance.

At least it is beautifully rounded and offers comforting warmth for the heart and nose with a corresponding cuddle factor. Perhaps not a perfume to fall in love with, but a lovable one.
