1881 pour Homme Cerruti 2018 Eau de Toilette

Yatagan's statement drew my attention to this version of the fragrance, and I bought a small bottle blind. At this price, you can't go far wrong. The fragrance opens with a light citrus note from the bergamot, quickly becoming green, woody, herbal and forest-like. I can make out lavender, while the other flowers blend together. A delicate note of cinnamon appears, and patchouli and wood soon take the lead. The whole thing is fresh, deeply spicy, completely unsweet, dry and, in my opinion, not your run-of-the-mill fragrance. And of course, it's suitable for all genders. The longevity is good, and the sillage is stronger than I expected (see below)

During the heatwave, I unexpectedly had to go to hospital, and Cerruti became my companion. Don't worry, I'm tough and back on my feet now.
Near the hospital there's a small recreation area with a lake, a playground and a fitness trail, used by lots of joggers and, of course, patients. Mr Pluto and I did a few laps there at a moderate pace, moving aside when joggers wanted to pass. One day we heard footsteps behind us again and turned onto the next path. "Hello, please wait, I'd like to ask you something." A couple hurried after us, and the young man asked Mr Pluto: "What fragrance are you wearing? I've been looking for exactly this kind - it smells great, we followed the scent trail." "Well, I'm not wearing anything, that's my wife." We quickly exchanged the perfume details, and they ordered the fragrance right there on their phone. And I realized that two short sprays, a good four hours earlier, were enough to leave a scent trail...
