A hot...day in Rome

My Rome scent!
I saw it all alone in Rossmann for 8€ (30 mL), and I just couldn't say no! Luckily, I was so spontaneous, because Cerruti Image Fresh Energy is really great!
Green, refreshing, light and airy, pleasantly cooling, this limited edition is still noticeably reminiscent of the original.

On the bottle, I smell: Nothing.
Okay. Poor longevity? No sillage? I was confused.
But one shouldn't be misled.
It would be a shame if one had to say about the beautiful bottle "Looks good on the outside, bad on the inside".
That is absolutely not the case.
After spraying, Fresh Energy is unusually strong and the mint pushes right to the forefront!
After initially only smelling mint, the grapefruit joins in after a few minutes. Mint and grapefruit: A dream! So fresh, so invigorating, I spray with good mood! Citrusy light and green-spicy, the first hours of Fresh Energy are convincing.
In contrast to the mint, the grapefruit doesn't last quite as long and fades after about 2-3 hours.
Then Fresh Energy remains green, minty, but becomes much calmer. The euphoric boost is over, along with the projection, but what remains is a beautifully cooling cloth.
I think there is green tea among the green notes, which characterizes the green notes for me in any case, or I interpret what Cerruti calls green notes as green tea.
Regardless, the base is close yet great, lasting for the last 4 hours. Altogether, you get about 6-7 hours, which is really good for such a light scent, making a 7-hour hike through the blazing sun of Rome much more bearable.

Because I associate so many beautiful memories of the south with Cerruti's fresh-energetic version of Image, because it is so simple and invigorating. That's why I love Fresh Energy, and with its original, it will remain my favorite scent for every summer.
