Male Peach with Bitter Coconut Finish

The flankers of the Allure line from Chanel are well-known, but I only discovered them later for myself. It started a few years ago with a sample of the widely popular Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême. "Good scent," I thought, but somehow not quite my style.
Later, I also became aware of the other guys from the line.

"Allure Homme Édition Blanche (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel," which I tested for the second time in a perfumery, I still find to be the worst in the entire line. I also recently tested the Allure Homme Sport Eau de Toilette in the large "D". This scent is nicely fresh and aquatic. "I like this a lot," I thought, and then saw way back in the corner of the shelf the Allure Homme Eau de Toilette standing there, looking quite sad. "I've never tested that one..." was in my thoughts, and I immediately thought to give it a try, maybe it would be something.

After the first sniff, I was shockingly in love. "What a scent, oh my God," I thought.
This freshness, yet slightly sweet, bitter, fougère dream composition. It starts off fresh and a bit citrusy with a certain kick of peach. Then it transitions into something slightly oriental, of course nothing heavy or anything, dominated by a bit of lavender.
Even after hours, there’s a lovely woodiness with a bit of spice, without ever losing freshness. The coconut also comes to the fore a bit, which, together with the leather and tonka bean, creates a wonderfully sensual drydown.
The scent lasts a good 7 hours on me and projects very well for about 3 hours.

When I got home in the evening, I immediately ordered a 50ml bottle and couldn't be happier to own this scent to this day.
In my eyes, Jacques Polge has created a masterpiece with Allure Homme. Timeless, elegant, beautiful masculinity. The scent is suitable for any occasion, whether at a job interview, on a date, or just daily at work. The scent is not a beast in terms of longevity and not a projection monster, but for me, the scent is just right as it is.

In my opinion, the original is the best in the line and unfortunately also the most often overlooked. Even the Bleu de Chanel line can't compete with it for me.
I can only warmly recommend to anyone who hasn't tested this scent yet to give it a try. For me, the best scent from Chanel!
