Bleu de Chanel Parfum Chanel 2018

I must confess that Bleu de Chanel and I have had a special connection for ages. Although I am no expert in long-term relationships, I would like to give you a glimpse into one of my few long-term bonds, which also knows no bad days.

Bleu de Chanel enchanted me from the very beginning. Our first encounter took place at Galeria Kaufhof. I was looking for a versatile fragrance, a classic all-rounder, and Chanel Allure Extrême as well as Chanel Homme had already made their way into my home. So, I instinctively reached for this wonderful, dark bottle from the brand I know so well, Chanel. It looked promising. I discreetly set aside the paper strip and immediately applied a generous amount to my forearm. I must say, it was love at first sniff. I didn’t think twice - please wrap it up - I’ll take the 150 ml bottle. I just remembered that back then, the 150 ml cost well under 100 euros. Inflation has really hit us hard... :)

Now, let’s talk about the scent. It opens with a refreshing explosion of lemon peels, bergamot, and mint. The freshness of this opening is further enhanced and simultaneously contrasted by bitter wormwood tones, which give the composition charisma. In the heart note, the penetrating scent of lavender provides a unique touch in an unconventional way, accompanied by green notes, juicy pineapple, and geraniums. In the base note, amberwood, cedarwood, tonka beans, and sandalwood from New Caledonia blend into a harmonious mixture, giving it an intense woody-aromatic character. An accord of Iso E Super enhances the "addictive potential" of this fragrance.

Over the years, our relationship has developed and refined. Bleu de Chanel and I are simply a well-rehearsed team. Due to my constant craving for new fragrances, we date less frequently now. But when I really don’t know what I’m in the mood for, Bleu de Chanel always fits. This fragrance has accompanied me for many years and has never disappointed me. So, if you’re looking for a scent that suits every situation and consistently brings new compliments, then Bleu de Chanel is definitely your new secret weapon. Trust me. ;)
