What an appearance...
Madame Anne de Rohan - Chabot is the mistress of King Louis XIV. So Mme. comes accordingly.
Draped in noble silk and brocade, she steps out of the carriage and presents me with her wonderful scent.
Fast forward.....
I freed the fragrance from its truly impressive packaging (an old book lined with red velvet and of considerable size) and took this beautiful work of art in the form of a bottle into my hand. Stunning and impressive.
That says something, as I can already call several noble scents my own.
Then the first spray.
Wow, what is approaching me. A raspberry rose or a rosy raspberry.
I can't decide. But wonderfully wonderful. More floral than fruity, and softly underlined by warm amber.
It transports me to an earlier time, and I feel elegant and happy.
