Fruity roses
Roses Greedy opens nicely with a peach note and a sweet coconut note.

After half an hour the rose emerges with some other flowery notes.

The composition itself does not chage much after that. Actually it dries down to basically rose, musk and amber accords.

On this phase it vaguely remembers me of Roses Vanille, but Roses Greedy is more fruity and the musk note is not so loud.

Lasting power is around 8 hours. Sillage is heavy and so projection is.

Roses Greedy is unisex in my opinion, altought smells better on a woman.

Bubblegum Rose
OK. This is some potent stuff. At first spritz. Has to be said that the sillage goes from enormous to skin scent in 10/15 minutes top.
Longevity as skin scent for Mancera is alike that of Keiko Mecheri's scents. But do I want to be the only one perceiving and enjoying such lovely perfume?

That's the dilemma for me. Surely I'd love more sillage. Just a tad more would be perfect. So I'm left craving it.

As for the notes, this is glorious. After 9 hours I can still detect a light jasmine, the ghost of roses' glory, sugar, and musk soapiness. Sleek, musky, adorable.
But. So faint I would cry.

First spray is a bubble-gummish blast of roses, sugar, musk, peach. Absolute rapture! Then, jasmine wrapped in coconut with some fruity undertone. Then, at last, musky sweet sleek soapiness.

All I want is more and more of the first loud bang of this, with more sillage and long lived stamina. A steroidal punch of first spritz would have had me stock up on 10 bottles of this. A life long supply. As it stands, I know I'll cry for more each time I spray.
This is to me comparable to a summer gigantic crash, leaving one rather disappointed at its brevity.

But what a punch those initial 10 minutes! Heaven! Perhaps the future of perfumes lies in constant re-application.

Still a decent 8/10. This cannot get less, no matter what.

A Walk Through Botanical Gardens eating rock candy
I always describe this fragrance as walking through a botanical garden during the rose bloom while eating rock candy. That is what it smells like to me in the most beautiful way possible. You get plenty of rose, but you also get white florals, and most amazingly a green smell that reminds you of the stem of the flowers. The stem of the flowers have just been drenched by a soft Spring rain. you are dressed in your Spring brunch attire, and eating rock candy while enjoying the views.

The longevity is ridiculous, and it will persist for days if you spray it on your clothes- until you wash them. The projection is heavy, heady, and floral. People will notice you in this fragrance and ask what you are wearing.

Definitely a more feminine fragrance but a man with confidence and who likes who stand out can pull it off and even get attention in this fragrance. I know I do! 10/10

Uncomplicated, Fruity Rose
The blame for Roses Greedy now being part of my collection must go to one of the newsletters from the well-known perfumery with the little i at the front. Rarely do I manage to not take a look at the weekly and clearance offers, and this curiosity combined with my not yet completely overcome blind-buy addiction, my little weakness for rose scents, and a more than reasonable price for the large 120 ml bottle (currently the fragrance is already 25 € more expensive) … what can I say? Once again, the order finger has triumphed over reason.

With blind purchases of fragrances that have no comments yet, where you have to rely entirely on your own imagination regarding the fragrance pyramid, the excitement at the first spray is naturally quite high, because seemingly harmless ingredient lists can mutate into a true disaster, as I unfortunately experienced with Dhan al Oudh Safwa by Rasasi.

However, I am spared another experience of this kind. Juicy-sweet peaches can be detected, a few sour-spicy berries are likely present, and the rose plays along from the very beginning, enveloping the fruits like a delicate veil. Although fruity-floral scents rank quite high on my dislike list, I find this mixture here to be fine and harmoniously balanced; I am neither overwhelmed by cloyingly sweet fruits nor crushed by overly floral blooms. Fortunately, coconuts play no role in my perception, and the unloved jasmine, although recognizable, is exceptionally restrained, so it does not bother me.

As the fruits slowly fade into the background after about half an hour, the rose moves more and more to the forefront. Not a dark red noble rose, but one of the delicate yellow, reddish-edged variety, which, alongside the typical rose scent, always radiates a slightly sweet fruity aroma. Beneath lies an unobtrusive weave of amber and musk that supports the fragrance, giving it density and a hint of resinous spice. No further development occurs until Roses Greedy bids farewell after about eight hours.

For once, I have succeeded in making a successful blind purchase this time. Roses Greedy will certainly not become my favorite fragrance, as it is just a tad too fruity-sweet for me, and my heart belongs to my otherwise spicier, less floral scents. But sometimes I crave an uncomplicated all-rounder that (to my nose) smells generally pleasant from start to finish, and then I will gladly wear it, just like Idylle, Chloé, and Wisal.

However, why the term "greedy" was chosen for the rose, which is also perceptible from a distance but by no means loudly screaming, remains a mystery of the manufacturer.

Greedy Roses or Man-Eating Women?
Hello you sniffing bunch and welcome to another comment from me. Today I’m writing about Mancera, specifically their fragrance Roses Greedy, which is quite an odd name for a scent. I mean, what does that even mean? Greedy roses? Voracious roses? Maybe roses here stand for women (in the sense of “Oh, she’s such a pretty flower!”, so the rose serves as a synonym for women). And greedy doesn’t just mean greedy, but also voracious. With a bit of imagination, one could interpret it as “Voracious Women,” but not in the sense of being greedy for chocolate, but rather man-eating.

All of this is surely a hidden hint at what I’ve been saying for years: Women are voracious monsters that just want to devour the hearts of guys…. YEAH! I always knew it! Bah! Now we have the proof, and here I am still surrounded by you… argh! :D

But okay, maybe that’s just one of my paranoid theories, but… prove me wrong! Mu ha ha ha, of course you can’t, can you? He he he :D
Before you all, mainly the ladies as usual, get upset and want to strangle me or something, I’d better get to the scent, which is said to represent a mix of East and West (or this generally applies to the Mancera brand) :D

The Scent:
So, for a rose scent, this one starts off really nicely. I was just expecting “normal” rose, at least at the beginning. And yes, you can definitely smell roses, but you also catch a whiff of so many other things at once that the combination creates a very lovely fragrance. There are nice blackcurrants, although very faint, but still present. Then there are mandarins, which always smell great, especially together with the sweet jasmine. And I think I can also detect a bit of the stated coconut. All combined, it results in an excellent scent that comes across as pleasant and feminine.
As it develops, the fragrance becomes sweeter, which could also be due to the vanilla. It is also soft, not only from the vanilla but also from resins like benzoin. The floral notes also become a bit heavier; besides the roses, you can smell “general flowers” that occasionally exude a slightly sultry vibe.
A little later, the scent even becomes quite opulent and floral. You can still smell the roses, but really, you mainly just get a general, slightly sultry floral mix. Otherwise, among the sweet notes, vanilla is the most prominent, but with a closer sniff, you can also perceive a bit of musk. All in all, a nice fragrance.
Very late, that is, after about eight to ten hours, the somewhat intense and opulent notes fade enough that you can suddenly smell the roses quite distinctly again.

The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is good, so you don’t have to get very close to smell the fragrance.
I found the longevity to be very good; I think it easily lasts eight to ten hours.

The Bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and tapers towards the neck. I like that Mancera bottles often have a nice gradient; this one has a pink hue that seems to fade a bit towards the bottom. On the front, there’s a narrow golden label, and the cylindrical cap is also golden. A beautiful bottle.

Conclusion:
So, that was Mancera’s Roses Greedy. The scent is not bad. For me, it could be a tad better, but I only say that because I prefer less opulent floral fragrances, although here it’s not as bad as if, for example, there was heavy ylang-ylang in it. Still, the scent is not necessarily my thing, BUT: I think you ladies might really like it.

Due to the heaviness of the scent, which really ramps up in the later base, it is of course best suited for cooler days, so autumn and winter. And then it’s great for going out or for the evening, as it not only smells nice but also lasts quite well and has a pretty good projection.

What I liked less about the scent (but it could also be due to my sample) was the somewhat sticky fragrance liquid. It bothers me when something too sticky or oily clings to my skin, so I didn’t particularly enjoy applying the fragrance either. Whether it’s the same when sprayed from a bottle, I unfortunately don’t know; I hope not, as I haven’t noticed this with other Mancera fragrances so far. So this doesn’t have to be the case here, but just a note.

And that’s it from me again. Have a nice evening, you voracious monsters, you! :D

Roses Greedy is the niche-more refined child of Dior's J'adore + Juicy Couture, FYI fruity white flowers hold the leading role not roses

Yikes. Not even sure what I smelled here. Not even a drop of rose, just bitter woods with some vague fruitiness in the top. Ew.

Beautiful radiant rose on soft light musk with a good dash of slightly sour and fresh fruits! Fruitier "Roses Musk".

Huh?! Why does it smell exactly like curling spray?! One spray and hello, hair salon. Not perfumey, rosy, or fruity at all. Strange.

For me, the most beautiful rose scent. Not too sweet & very elegant. With great longevity. The price-performance ratio is just right here.

Fruity sweet rose. Interesting scent, though it has a slightly synthetic touch at first. A bit less sweet and it would be just right for me.

A modern fruity rose scent that lifts your spirits right from the first spray. H+S Mancera-style, very good. Perfect for spring!
