I could never imagine what cherry blossom scent would be like, since they have a very faint fragrance, if any at all. Until I found out that from the Japanese cherry blossoms, which bear no fruit, a special scent or spice is produced through lactic acid fermentation. It’s supposed to be a bitter-sour fragrance. I do perceive something like that in this scent. Still, this surprisingly rich and long-lasting fragrance isn’t a candidate for purchase for me.

It's not the barely noticeable scent of cherry blossoms. Instead, it's the strangely sour scent of fermented Japanese cherry blossoms. This makes the fragrance feel quite sophisticated, so to speak.
