sassy Snow White
When I read the pyramid of Fleur de Parfum, I expected a full romantic rose scent, with a touch of nostalgia.

But this rose that awaits me here is white and slightly citrusy, and it unmistakably reminds me of my radiant Snow White bush in the garden.

Its aroma is refreshingly lively, almost sassy, and not as dreamy as that of the old English Austin roses.
The vervain further emphasizes the fresh - green impression without overshadowing the rose.
The cherry blossom softens the slightly prickly start and merges delicately with the almond.
However, the scent does not turn into a marzipan note.

A vibrant, floral morning scent that lively guides you into the day.
I like its casually elegant dynamism.

But reapplying is necessary, as Fleur is somewhat fleeting.
I don't mind doing that.

Slightly Pungent Fabric Softener with Rose Aroma
Hm… if I write "fabric softener" in my title, it might well scare some people off right from the start, because there are certainly perfumes (and also parfumos) that don’t like soap and prefer to be little dirt birds :D

Well, a fabric softener is not soap, but the term does imply something synthetic, which can also be off-putting for some. And it's okay if you're not into certain things, but I think Fleur de Parfum is a scent that isn’t all that bad and could at least be worth a try.

The scent:
The scent starts with a slightly powdery (and somewhat synthetic) verbena note, which could be better described as citrusy fresh lemon balm or verbena, thus also having a slightly bitter edge.
Then you smell roses. These are light and also smell a bit artificial, but that’s not a problem, as it smells more like nice fabric softener with "rose aroma." However, the scent can occasionally come off as biting, which is something that unfortunately comes and goes and occasionally disrupts the scent progression.
Even late in the base, I mainly smell these softened roses and still the lemon balm. I can’t find any almonds at all…
After about six hours, however, the scent only smells average, as the fabric softener note with the roses is almost gone and the scent only smells of lemon balm.

The sillage and longevity:
The projection is above average. At first, you can hardly smell anything, but then the projection suddenly unfolds, so you could even make the mistake of overapplying. But that doesn’t matter at all, as it calms down a bit later on. Overall, the projection keeps decreasing.
The longevity is only four to five hours. Even though you can still smell the scent for a few hours after this time, I don’t count that as usual, because you would really have to press your nose against the sprayed area to smell anything.

The bottle:
This bottle also has the basic shape of most Chloé bottles, which, with a bit of imagination, look like ancient temples with columns. The chrome upper part contains the brand name, the fragrance liquid is light pink, and as always, there’s a nice bow at the neck. All in all, a very nicely made bottle.

Hmm…. somehow I’m currently in a drugstore. Yes, that’s right, drugstore, not perfumery. Because, as we all know, you can smell everything (especially you parfumos and parfumos should know this!). And besides the scents themselves or things like scented candles (yeeah, Yankee Candles, there should soon be Halloween specials again :D), you often smell shower gels, shampoos, and indeed fabric softeners.

And that’s exactly what this scent reminded me of, as it smells very much like nice rose fabric softener alongside the lemon balm. And even though the scent itself isn’t very extraordinary, it should appeal reasonably well to those who enjoy these clean notes. However, the slightly pungent sour scent is a bit bothersome, which unfortunately brings the fragrance down.

Without this annoying note, the scent would have been even nicer, which one could consider for spring and summer when looking for something nice for the day or leisure (as it’s unfortunately a bit too weak and short-lived for going out).

If the synthetic aspect doesn’t bother you too much, you might want to check out this scent.
Unless, of course, you’re not into that clean feeling and, as I mentioned earlier, prefer to be a little dirt bird :D

Nice, floral/soft fragnance. But again - not friend with my skin, do after a while its gone. Absolu de parfum is stronger.

I don't need to test it to know that I will love it very much. The ingredients - a dream, the other Chloé scents are great too.

Sweet-fruity-floral-creamy, the special cherry blossom preparation is the twist. Not to be underestimated. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Typical Chloe, fresh and clean! Not bad...but if you already have other Chloes, you don't necessarily need this one too.

It's true, it's similar to the EdP, but even fresher thanks to the citrusy green. I think this green pairs perfectly with the light rose.

Ugh, overwhelmed by synthetic cleanliness! - and I love clean scents! But more rose, please!
I'll stick with my Chloe Intense instead.

The unmistakable Chloé rose gets a cozy, fluffy autumn coat, delicate flattering, soft almond sweetness, elegant, intricate.

Typical Chloe, similar to the EDT, top note almost piercing, rose more radiant & less synthetic than in Roses de Chloe. I like it!

Just as terrible as all the other Chloés (except: Love)... what’s everyone’s obsession with this stuff?! Cheap rose fabric softener, the 153725th.

Overbearing, synthetic, diluted rose.. smells like cheap laundry detergent to me.. Chloé scents just aren't my thing in general..
