Love or Hate Story

Now I have to tell you something about my Valentine's Day gift.
I really like all the scents from Chloe, some more than others. I am less open to new things these days, as nothing really blows me away anymore. This new delicate breeze is not exactly a fragrance bomb, but I still like it very much.

Why? Well, I see this Love Story on a spring day, you wake up and are immediately in a good mood. The sun is shining and the first spring flowers are greeting you. Cheerfully, you start the day with this fresh and floral scent, radiating energy and enthusiasm. I notice neither sharpness, pungency, nor toilet cleaner; I usually have that impression with citrus scents. When I first tested this new fragrance, I noticed a slightly soapy note, which I no longer perceive after some wear time.

Well, it’s nothing terribly new that we’re encountering here; Neroli, orange blossoms, and flowers are currently delighting many perfumers and are being translated into new fragrances. By the way, I just had to Google Stephanotis; you can’t know everything after all. It’s a type of flower from the wreath vine that exudes a captivating scent. I would have said I smell jasmine, that would probably be simpler.
If the rose in the regular Chloe, EdP, bothered you, you might want to take a closer look at this scent, fresh, cheerful, and simply enchanting. And completely without rose. A very light, pleasant breeze surrounds you constantly; Love Story certainly doesn’t stand out negatively. My husband really likes this scent on me. I smell so good! The only downside is that the scent doesn’t last all day. Reapplying is necessary. At this price, that stings a bit.

So, how does my Love Story smell exactly? In short, fresh, floral, not sweet, but not bitter, with a woody finish. You should like orange blossoms, though. Fresh yet sensual, skillfully conveyed. I think I can still sense a hint of musk at the end, not bad. It’s also well-suited as an office scent, and I see Love Story as ageless. Anyone who likes it can wear it.

So, that’s my personal Love Story! What you make of it is up to you.

I can't really warm up to it. It's not that bad though ;) Maybe I'll give it another try in the summer. :))

This is definitely a Chloé, with the typical powderiness. I quite like the first hour (even though I'm not a fan of orange blossom), but unfortunately, the scent changes after that-and something bothers me. I'll test it again.

Fortunately, it's not too sweet for me; otherwise, I agree with everything.
It's just a lovely mood-boosting scent.

I usually don't like neroli and orange blossoms. But after your lovely comment, I’ll definitely give it a try now. (o;
