From One Who Is Different from the Others

I actually didn't want to write a comment here. However, for what I have to say about Nomade, the length of a statement is unfortunately not enough. Therefore, "my statement in long form" about Nomade is here as a comment, especially because I think that one should not do her (the Nomad) an injustice:

Every perfume is "debatable," just as Chloé is "debatable," and it is obvious that Nomade is also "debatable" - and in all 3 cases, that is a good thing.
I personally do not belong to those who meticulously analyze a fragrance, break it down into its components to form a judgment, sometimes even to the point of being a judge over "good and evil," especially since the times of ancient Rome and its Caesars (thumbs up - thumbs down) are long gone. Complexity is the keyword here, and I find Nomade to be complex as well.

When you engage with Nomade, you inevitably also engage, at least indirectly, with Chloé, and no other fragrance from this manufacturer denies its origins as much as Nomade does. I think that when you try the fragrance, you expect "typical Chloé" and will be quite disappointed right away. Because this Nomad fulfills her role very well, as she does not belong to the other, previously rather girlishly pure fragrances with a certain, clean laundry detergent image, but has an independent appearance, far removed from that of her sisters.

Nomade is, at this point, almost harsh, even somewhat piercing, almost like the sting of a scorpion, especially when I somehow expect "typical Chloé." That was also my very first impression; however, the Nomad did not sting right away but also did not let me go immediately. Her language is simply different, perhaps her message is as well.

2 or 3 sprays on the test strip or on the skin are already 1 or 2 sprays too much. The Nomad rather seeks distance, even when spraying, as she needs space and air to unfold and show herself and her subtleties. And this also applies to inhaling, smelling this fragrance, as she is unmistakably present. Thus, for me, Nomade becomes a question of handling, and if one understands how to interact with her, one understands each other - even significantly better than perhaps initially assumed.
The Nomad is not complicated in this regard, just as she is generally not floral, because where she is located, flowers are rather scarce. Nevertheless, she knows how to carry a hint of it without letting it wither in the heat.

Nomade is somehow perhaps even contradictory and certainly not integral, as one might generally expect from a Nomad or might accuse her of, yet she also has her roots.

Nomade sollte man überlegt dosieren.
