Fragrant Letter
Dear Iris is such a generous person, and I sincerely thank her for sending me a sample of this fantastic fragrance. It is always a joy to discover what wonderful people are involved in this forum!

The opening of the fragrance comes to me in a beautifully balsamic-fine and cinnamon-warm way, with a spice that shifts into a greenish-yellow hue; it is a true delight. This is partly due to the fine vanilla that slowly sneaks into the heart, but also the green nuances that the fragrance holds (at least for me) flutter and buzz in the nose, simply beautiful.

However, the longevity for me - once again - is not very long. Such a shame, because you just want to smell something like this for much longer.

I’m seriously considering whether to get it, as it is still available for purchase.
But NO, I have to cut back. A move is coming up in a few months, and I don’t want or can’t carry so much with me.

But who knows, maybe I will change my mind.

The Lost Letter from the 80s
"Lettera da..." by Claudio La Viola is a typical fragrance from the late 1980s of the 20th century. It is balsamic-cinnamon-vanilla with a fine almond note that runs throughout the fragrance and flashes back repeatedly. The balsamic quality in the scent comes from the amber and styrax, which together emit their characteristically spicy aroma. The whole is rounded off by a serious vanilla note and something indefinably white floral.
Although "Lettera da..." initially has a massive sillage, the fragrance quickly becomes close to the skin. The longevity is just under 9 hours.

A true insider tip from the craziest decade of the last century.

A letter with words
Of many blossoms
The bitter bright ones
With resinous pollen
From soap traces
On cat hair brushes
Written on leathery skin

Floriental in the style of Opium or Youth Dew with aldehydes, floral notes, a hint of civet, and a woody balsamic base: This is perfume!

A typical scent of the 80s. Aldehydes and a hint of bitterness at the start, then comes a lush bouquet. Everything that smells rich and narcotic...

Letter from... good old times. Beautiful 80's scent, balsamic, warm, wonderfully blended. It's been a while. Pure nostalgia.
