Barber Shop at its best
As a confessed old-schooler and wet shaver, it was only a matter of time before I stopped using the 3-4-5-6 blade nonsense from Gillette, Wilkinson, etc., and ended up with a classic safety razor.
For this, better shaving preparation is required, and after many attempts, I now use the shaving cream "Musgo Real" from Claus Porto.
It is not without reason that this shaving cream is considered cult status.
The soap manufactory was founded in 1887 in Portugal, and in 1920 "Musgo Real" was released, a classic barber shop scent.
Soapy, clean, well-groomed, classic.
Vetiver, moss, and fougere characterize this fragrance.
For an aftershave, it has a pronounced sillage and a longevity like some eau de toilette.
As in France at that time, there were also plenty of wealthy people on the Iberian Peninsula who could afford the luxury of fine soaps and fragrances.
Musgo Real has been produced unchanged since 1920.

Absolutely right! And yes: I’ve tried the shaving cream too... It's really great. I've since moved on to Truefitt & Hill :)
