Sueded Oud Clean 2015

I chose "Sueded Oud" when I was jumping between the Clean Reserve fragrances. The vetiver and the raun were also great on the first sniff. But somehow this subtle, underlying oud scent suited my mood best. I didn't want to be in the spotlight, the clouds were getting darker, autumn was rolling in. A fragrance that combines beauty and melancholy, blurring sadness and reliability.

"This oud" is noble, and with it, you always smell good. You just shouldn't seek the grand entrance or want to play the first fiddle. A good friend, a reliable companion, a sexy skin scent when it matters. A suit fragrance that puts the suit or, even better, the man in the foreground. Not itself. Last weekend, I was the best man at my best buddy's wedding, two beautiful days. And this woody musk charmer is just perfect for such occasions. It made me happy and let others shine. It has to happen sometimes. The company sees the line as a layering collection. However, I'm not a fan of that. "Sueded Oud" stands alone perfectly and is a crystal-clear recommendation for those looking for a defensive, glassy, and silky agarwood.

Bottle: thick glass, great wooden cap, understated, matching the scent.
Sillage & longevity: extremely, extremely subtle. You can forget about compliments after 4-5 hours.

Conclusion: Oud in underwear. Or as a best man. Unobtrusive, noble, human. Oud Wood in light and transparent. Simply pleasant.
