Torn

I must admit that I was tempted to buy this perfume by the slogan "The most expensive perfume in the world". After some research I found a good supplier who had this fragrance in stock for good money. In short: Bought and delivered.

After about a week the perfume was delivered and I could hardly wait to open the box. Well, I'm not a fan of the wrapping. It's a little kitschy for me. The bottle also looks a little cheap in terms of its look, although it does feel high-quality. But in my opinion, a complete gold plating is more likely to enhance the appearance than to devalue it. Matter of taste, definitely
Immediately sprayed on my neck and wrists I was a little confused at first. Definitely not the smell explosion I was expecting. Powdery and floral sweetness in the first moment. A bit old-fashioned was my first thought. A few minutes later quite floral but less sweet, almost woody. 2 hours later almost nothing more could be recognized from the smell. Even when asked by the family, they could only weakly recognize a note that still existed. Sometimes I smell a fine sillage when I go back to the same room I left. But I would still describe the durability as rather below average. Until now unfortunately a fragrance of my collection with shorter fragrance duration. To add to this is that I have never smelled this fragrance before, so I can't say if the bottling was simply not that good. Especially the other comments unsettle me enormously, and I was only hesitant to leave one myself. But I still want to stay honest and describe my experience
