The earth bull

My first thoughts on this are that the earth is nourished by fire and should have control over the water. All the energy of the earth is gathered and the earth stands for harvest, fertility and growth. Late summer is crucial for the earth and should radiate tranquillity. Then there is the bull - the bull, the domestic animal, the mythical creature, which again fits very well. The bottle reminds me of L'Air du temps by Nina Ricci.
When I read the fragrance notes now, I start to wonder. The naming of this fragrance is extremely contradictory, a deceptive package. Earth Bull is more like spring. Not something warm or brown, reddish. Rather blue, green, yellow. The name Taurus fits, but I associate it with a certain stubbornness.
For me, the earth bull is neither gentle nor sweet. This extreme choice of flowers - especially hyacinth and narcissus - is loud and intense. This is underlined by heliotrope, which tries to mute this floral dominance. Not that it becomes sweet, no. It gets vanilla, but a cool, creamy, powdery vanilla. It works quite well, but it seems to be getting on the bull's horns.
He becomes well-behaved and even walks beside you as if he were out for a stroll. Sometimes he even prances, because bergamot and orange spray little flashes of lightning and give him a certain kick. If this fragrance is well dosed, this bull is bearable right from the start. If it weren't for the heliotrope and musk, I would even describe this fragrance as vintage. Earth bull - hmm. Every nose feels differently. I find the element earth unsuitable for this floral fragrance. It's loud and wild and a bit of a trickster. A bull that runs towards you because you have entered its pasture. Just before you, he slows down, snorts and looks at you with his big eyes. Steam rises from his nostrils and he calms down. A trickster who finally romps with you across a large, green meadow full of all kinds of flowers.
