Pleasant and aromatherapic

I've recently tested the actual version of this aromatic water and I liked it very much: a well balanced bouquet which gives to the skin and to the mind too freshness and relax. The opening notes (in particular the bergamot ) are noticeable and vibrant and seem quite masculine, but all is made round and softer by the heart and by the warmer base. Unfortunately this product was meant as a body water, so the longevity isn't strong as the perfume's one. Anyway, a very good product perfect expecially in the hottest days for a "zen" moment. Particularly refined the new glass bottle, simple but classy.

Green???

I have the honor of being the first to comment on this little fragrance :)

Actually, I wanted to try my Profumo di Benessere sample first, but then I thankfully "overcame" myself to test PdB, and now the sample is mine after all ;)
When I apply the (medium green) liquid, it strongly reminds me of my great-grandmother's violet soap, which I received when I was 4 years old. One of the first scents I remember.
A slight hint of aldehydes accompanies it, but it quickly dissipates.
Somehow, the top note also has something of Eau de Cologne 4711.

In the heart note, it transforms into a chypre-mandarin soap. Yes, a typical mandarin scent (not like an authentic mandarin but like a perfume that wants to smell like mandarin ;)

In the base note, a powdery note dominates - it reminds me of a sweet little grandmother :D Not a sharp, aldehydic "grandma scent," but a warm, powdery one.
However, PdB is not unconditionally "warm," but also somewhat fruity due to the "fake mandarin." However, it is by no means sweet, floral, oriental, or GREEN.

That was the confusing part that initially kept me from testing the sample. Because I usually don't find green scents that exciting.

This one, however, has the green bottle and scent color unjustly. It does not have leaves or typical green notes.

All in all, a very interesting, violet-powdery sweet grandma chypre for everyday wear.
The sillage is much more powdery than when you sniff directly at the wrist, where PdB is more mandarin-like.

One more thing:
I caught myself googling the brand Collistar to find out whether it is a more expensive or cheaper brand. Douglas describes it as a "luxury brand," but I found 100ml of the liquid for around €20 on an Italian site.
Ultimately, the price should not be the deciding factor, but simply whether you like the scent or not. But unfortunately, I am very susceptible to the presentation, color, bottle, brand, and advertising campaign when it comes to my fragrance preferences :D

While I wouldn't buy the whole bottle, I am happy to have spent a few lovely days with the sample (it will be empty soon anyway, as the longevity is not too long, maybe 3-4 hours, and I need to reapply more often).
