A few days ago, a sample of the iconic vanilla arrived at my place. Since I am absolutely addicted to vanilla, I had to take the first spray immediately.
What can I say? I would have loved to bathe in it right away, it smells so delicious! A sweet, warm vanilla-almond dessert scent with a hint of peach, but only very subtly noticeable. Paired with a light, very subtle woody note. But otherwise just vanilla, vanilla, and more vanilla.
For me, it’s a fragrance that incredibly warms and provides a sense of security, that calms and envelops. I really enjoy wearing it before going to sleep. Longevity and sillage are fine, but not outstanding. However, that doesn’t bother me too much here, as I wear the scent more for myself and my soul than for the public.
