Sensual Green Pixie Dust
The "Crazy Sticks" by Crazylibellule and the Poppies are a line of Frenchmade solid perfume sticks with packaging that functions similarly to a lipbalm. The are solid at room temperature which makes them extremely convenient for travel and inspite of this fact, some of them provide decent sillage. They have some added eco-advantages of being alcohol, paraben and coloring agent free, as well. The outer box delivers the essence composition and a simple statement of purpose 'Embrasse ma Peau' (Kiss my skin) and that is exactly what this line of fragrance does... very gentle kiss the skin with a unique blend of pure fragrance essences. The first impression is very green fresh unripe fruit mingling with something dangerous and sexy. Tamara Charleston is an evening scent from the "Les Garconnes" line that features masculine and feminine notes, that create a sensual scent for both or either. Tamara Charleston features Ylang, absinthe, green mandarin and gardenia in what I perceive to be a base of warm amber. This is perfect for slipping in a small sachel for a Summer evening, although some may prefer these notes in the cooler months of Fall, as well. It starts of mischievous, playful, later turns dark and spellbinding like the green-Pixie herself. The finish is so soft, powdery and veiled in sheer amber that the wearer will be quite content to stay in this mystical never-never land until the spell dissipates. The longevity maybe its tiny little Achilles heel, I get about 2-3 hours wear before reapplication is needed, luckily, the solid stick can go anywhere and the price is so right! It is easy to never be without one of these crazy sticks.
