A Pink Rose on a May Morning

This perfume is over 100 years old, but no other rose fragrance feels as fresh, youthful, and uplifting to me as this one. (I’m so sorry for you, Florblanca, that it apparently doesn’t work on your skin; on mine, it’s a photorealistic rose, I would say pink, with the typical citrus top notes and, yes, a distinct note of green tea.) It smells as if I am outside in the garden on a sunny morning, holding my nose deep into the just-opened bloom of a rose, with a few dew drops still hanging on its petals. A breathtaking beauty.
Right after spraying, bergamot and citrus come through a bit harshly, but after just a few minutes, they fade into the background, and the rose unfolds, accompanied by green tea, and the rest of the scent progression is rather linear. I don’t get any earthiness, almost no amber; I wonder if some reviewers might have confused this perfume with Fleurs de Bulgarie from the same house, Creed, which is an elegant rose on a very solid amber base.
This perfume here should actually bear the name of the limited edition from Les Parfums de Rosine "Clair Matin," because that’s exactly the impression Fleur de The Rose Bulgare conveys: A radiant, clear summer morning. I’m wearing it today, on this sunny, still cool but already warming May morning, and as always, I feel young, carefree, and almost giggling with anticipation for the adventures this day will bring.
I love it so much that I bought a whole large bottle last spring, one of those huge 250 ml bottles. And - sorry, ladies - I actually don’t want to share it, but keep it all to myself. A lot is already missing!
Oh, by the way: Men seem to like it a lot too; this is one of the few perfumes from my collection that I often get approached about.
And one more P.S. I can also imagine this very well on a man. With jeans and a white shirt...

Yep, I have to try that! It sounds like it could be my kind of scent based on your description! Thanks for that, I'm handing you the trophy :-)
