Monologue of an Imperial Offspring

I never wanted to grow up
Always fought back
Beautiful on the outside like a gemstone
And yet I was pushed into a corner
Dragged to royal and imperial balls
My childish ego dressed up in bow tie and suit
But it’s quite obvious: I have remained a five-year-old child
Who wants to be happy and carefree in spring and summer
Only then...
when I am no longer light as a feather and can concentrate
Will I be taken on the multi-hour excursions on the high seas
For now, I whistle as if I’ve done nothing
Disappear unnoticed
To play with the other children in the sandbox
Mom looks sour, as if she bit into a lemon
She is just as beautiful as I am
Because the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree
I throw everything I can find at the beach at her
Though I miss, I still hit her - in my own way
That’s what she gets for bringing the little heir to the house!

--------
Yes, that’s what you get.
No one forces you to read my contributions, let alone invest your money in lukewarm breezes. After all, these breezes smell noble, I must give them that.
Oh, the Peter Maffay earworm? You’re welcome! Always very gladly. For mind-bleaching, I recommend something stronger. Vodka perhaps.

This reminds me of the Zarah Leander song: Vodka for the Queen. Best in an interpretation by Nina Hagen, as I read your posts. - Unfortunately, vodka doesn’t smell like anything. But the maritime notes really come through here...

Really beautifully written. Which scent do you perceive as a mother of Millesime?

Totally sexy scent that has already earned me many compliments from women, no idea if you meant exactly the same thing :)
