Original Vetiver Creed 2004

Now that there are rumours Mugler Cologne is discontinued I smelled Original Vetiver today for the very first time. The drydown both on paper and on skin smells to me no doubt soapy, but in fact like a cheap soap. It reminds me quite clearly of the smell of plain laundry blue bar soap, so quite rough actually, not really refined to my nose. Nowhere near as pleasant to my taste as Mugler Cologne. Can't understand how people draw the comparison with Mugler Cologne, which is to me miles better and more refined smelling. Also, no vetiver in sight here, the name of the fragrance makes no sense to me at all.
