Nepal, Namche Bazar 3440 meters. It is my acclimatization day on the way to the Mount Everest base camp
We have just climbed up a few metres in altitude and then descended again to promote acclimatisation. The legs are lame, the skin is burnt and the air is getting thinner but still I am the happiest person in the world. Step by step I am getting closer to my goal. The sun is shining. I am sitting freshly showered with a hot coffee and a Snickers in a cafe at 3440 meters in the middle of the Himalayas.
Sparkling bright, fruity notes gently wrap themselves around my aura with a touch of rose. I watch this happen, I am in the middle of it. Gradually the sparkling top note disappears and the sun sets. Warmly wrapped up, with my bamf around my neck I lie in bed and let the last days review pass. Kathmandu / Luka (most dangerous airport in the world) / Himalayas / WOOW ! I get tired, the scent is now flowery, woody and velvety soft. Really beautiful.
A few days later, I made it. I reached base camp. But I wanted even more.
It is 03:45 in the morning, -11 degrees and faltering dark. I am on my way to master a huge challenge of my life. Step by step I fight my way forward. My gaze is only directed downwards. During the breaks I let my eyes wander, I can see the headlamp of the people who are climbing the highest mountain in the world at this moment. My water is half frozen and I am cold.
Meanwhile, everyone but my friend Will and I have given up. It's getting icy and slippery. We're on our way to the summit of the Kala Patthar. I have a headache, I don't feel well at all and breathing is difficult...... It is time. My gaze is directed upwards, I stand on 5643 meters of altitude with the view of Mount Everest with a beautiful sunrise. I pull off my Bamf and suddenly the smell comes into my nose. Light vanilla, velvety and white like the snow on which I stand, it warms and cools me at the same time. This light musk note caresses me and I feel really great. I didn't give up, I stuck to my goals, I gritted my teeth and now I stand on the summit with the awareness that I can always recapture this moment by applying Aventus.
The 14 days belong to the most adventurous and beautiful moments of my life and I wrote these with Aventus. I'm new here and probably can't begin to describe the notes and the scent as others can. I can also understand that some people don't like it because of the hypes. I can also understand that it is very expensive. But I can't understand that it can be smelled at every corner. I think it is the cliché in the community but in everyday life I rarely smell perfume on others and certainly no Aventus. The shelf life is enormous, others can smell it on me over 10 hours without getting very close to me. (Batch 18G11 if anyone wants to know). I simply love the fragrance, I connect beautiful moments and memories and it will surely stay in my collection for a long time
