everything flows....

...and some of it's gone.
According to the world network the concept pantha rei sums up a Heraclitus river doctrine.
He once postulated that a continuous metabolism and change of form takes place. A metaphor for the process of the world.

Well, to be honest, the combination of frankincense with aquatic notes in the top note moved me quite profanly to a test of the fragrance, as these are my two favorite fragrances, which I see united here for the first time.

Immediately after spraying, it is first very fresh and clear, almost airy fresh - but only a few minutes, then incense immediately comes through with slightly bitter accompaniment. According to the description, this is probably the thyme, although I would not have recognized it as such.
After about an hour it gets very quiet, just a soft whisper. I have to put my nose directly to my skin to see something else.
It becomes a soft, gently creamy tone that is only gently roughened - I can't really recognize anything concrete. Apart from some vetiver (the slightly earthy one), the complete middle part is missing. There remains only a tender musk ambered base.

i'm really disappointed, a dreamy start that disappears very quickly.
Or is that how it's supposed to be?
Finally Heraclitus said: "Everything flows and nothing remains"
