Thanks to a sample in a super impractical mini bottle, I became aware of this perfume. From the description, presentation, and the pyramid, I probably would have never picked it up. But then, while sniffing the sample, I spilled some on my hand. And wow! What was that? I smell spicy, slightly fruity-floral notes with warm-balsamic woodiness underneath. I like!
Since I registered on parfumo, I have been desperately searching for a scent that could replace my once-beloved signature fragrance "Style" by Jil Sander, after it was discontinued. I have found many other great perfumes and fallen in love, but this is the first time I think to myself, "Oh, yes, you and I, this could be something long-term." It might also be due to the pink pepper and sandalwood, which remind me of Style, even though both scents are quite different in direct comparison.
The longevity is very pleasant for me; even after hours, I can still catch a whiff of it and enjoy the scent. Over time, the fruity florals fade for me, becoming softer, gentler, and cozier. It almost has a slightly powdery scent then, very pleasant for evening hours after a day at the office.
My partner finds the scent very fruity, while I only smell a slightly tart, subtle fruit, thankfully nothing overly sweet. For me, it’s a very rounded and successful combination of fruit/flower/spice/wood. Very pleasant, very grown-up, interesting, and yet great for everyday wear.
Currently also very affordable, you can't go wrong with that.
