Straight to the soul and heart.
It is an aroma that reaches my soul and heart, because it was my mother's signature fragrance and although I love it, I can't help but feel nostalgic and a little sad every time I smell it, since she left 7 years ago.
It is a very cheap EDT but with very acceptable performance and quality.
Since I was little I remember this fragrance in my mother's closet, she fell in love with its aroma at the first smell and until the last moment of her life she reserved it for special moments or occasions. It was quite a ritual to see how she got ready and then put on Zinia.
When I was a child, every time I had the opportunity I would open my mother's closet and put a few drops to go to school and now that I am an adult I never lack it, because despite remembering my mother every day, when I wear Zinia It's like she's next to me...
It is a soft floral chypre but with a lot of personality and with its own hallmark.
It may seem strange, but the first nuance I feel is the aroma given off by freshly baked bread (it's very nice), and it's a nuance that has caught my attention since I was little. This nuance lasts a few seconds and immediately citrus fruits and an orange blossom make their way. Starts cool, but turns into a deep, wet, leafy green. The floral combo is very well fused with the green notes.
The base notes of patchouli and also oakmoss, which I also perceive, provide a lot of personality and a high-quality drydown.
It seems to me a timeless and unisex EDT.
