With Zenzero, I expected a sharp, fresh perfume with only a short longevity, due to the rich fragrance notes listed.
But it turned out differently.
Zenzero was part of a sample package from Oloroso - thank you for that.
The brand Tesori d'Oriente offers a variety of fragrances and bath/care products and is positioned at a lower price level. Drugstore level.
Zenzero is no longer listed on the manufacturer's website. It will probably disappear from the market.
As always, without much preamble, I opened the vial and applied it to my skin: neck and chest area.
No, there was no sharp ginger freshness. Just a slightly fresh opening cloud, and then it quickly became warm and sweet.
Oriental describes it quite well. For me, it is a lightly spiced, bright vanilla, sweet but not overly sugary.
At this price level, a certain synthetic quality cannot be hidden.
The scent development is one-dimensional. Apart from the warm, sweet note, not much else comes through. Perhaps a little light wood and a hint of smoke.
On the website of a German distributor, it is written that Zenzero is "rich in amber and musk notes." I find that very likely.
It lasted surprisingly long on my skin, while the projection was rather weak.
There isn't much more to tell.
At a price of about 7EUR/100ml, you shouldn't expect much, but I didn't find it bad at all!
However, I wouldn't buy the other fragrances from Tesori d'Oriente blindly either.
Addendum from 08.11.2013: Vanilla isn't quite right. Although I associate this sweetness with vanilla, it is more of an ambered musk sweetness. After having Musk by Lorenzo Villoresi under my nose, this became clear to me.
