Bouquet on Cake Board

"Flower Show" hits me first with a wild, musty floral scent mixture, reminiscent of those wheel-like floral arrangements, circular and placed on a kind of cake board: it's called a Biedermeier bouquet.
It also lacks the "non-scent" of those flowers from which the fragrance has been bred out. For me, these have a "dead" smell, dull, like half-wilted plants and slightly moldy-musty. At the same time, I smell the stagnant flower water and the plant remnants that have already begun to decompose on the tables and in the bins in the back room of a flower shop. A bit further from my wrist, I actually smell something creamy, hints of orris root, violet, Nivea cream, something soapy.
On the skin, after a while, an aquatic scent and something spicy develop. "Flower Show" surprisingly ends for me with a relatively common sweet floral mixture without the flower shop, if you just wait long enough. "Flower shop smell" expresses it precisely. In our cultural sphere, nearly everyone knows what is meant.
With "Flower Show," the name corresponds with the scent: the fragrance has a progression, a floral shop scent palette, so to speak.
Again, a scent or smell for shops that sell artificial flowers to suggest to buyers the ambiance (ambiance also means: smell/fragrance) of a flower shop.

I can vividly imagine the scent now - and I think there's nothing to lose in skipping a self-test this time...
