My first perfume, a real scent hammer.
Thanks to this perfume, I registered with Parfumo.de and was caught by the fragrance virus, but all over again:
When I spontaneously stopped by the perfumery 2 months ago and couldn't make friends with most of the "mainstream" fragrances, I approached the saleswoman and told her that I wanted a very concise and unique fragrance and maybe it should be a perfume instead of an EdT (At that time I didn't know that this shouldn't necessarily say anything about the durability, but in this case it's definitely true) She led me to a showcase which she opened with the key and I thought to myself; Oh that must be something special. She sprayed on a strip of paper and I, as an absolute perfume newcomer who until then only possessed rather cheap and simple fragrances, was completely enchanted. The first thing that came to my mind was leather and something rather spicy like chili and black chocolate; a dream and a scent that I have never smelt before and that certainly not many people will wear.
I had to have it, we went to the register and it finally belonged to me. Rarely have I bought a new perfume so quickly and I could hardly believe my luck to have found something so incredibly fascinating.
In the car I opened the box right away and applied 4 sprays around my neck in the old manner, which I wouldn't do today, because I didn't know what the thing has for durability and sillage. Since one in Switzerland however very very very rarely on the smell is addressed I can only think of what the people around me thought when I came into the room *laughs*.
Arriving home I sprayed my wrist to analyse the scent; at first I clearly mean to smell something spicy, slightly hot like chili and orange and then very quickly something leathery is added. Later, a lightly powdered iris clearly comes to the fore, which is complemented by a beautiful rose. The rose accompanies me for the next hours and gives the whole thing something very pleasant because it is constantly wrapped by the leather. Until the end, after more than 12 hours, the skin smells pleasantly rosy, woody with a discreet leather flap. Even after the shower I smell the perfume up close, a madness.
Since I'm still a bloody beginner when it comes to perfumes and fragrances, maybe a professional will be a little surprised that I was the first chili to come to mind. I also have to mention that until I read about it on the internet, it never occurred to me that perfume would smell like lipstick or make-up.
For me, this perfume is a masterpiece and I think it is a very masculine perfume which is accompanied by certain feminine nuances. I think whether a fragrance is male or female always depends on the eye of the beholder and how he sees the person wearing the fragrance. A fragrance for very special occasions where you want to stand out.
